  • The hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled physicians and therapists, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care.
  • A wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local acute care hospitals.
  • There are 3 IM physicians there who act as attending/admitting. The partners from their group provide call coverage for nights and weekends. They are from a local group that has many providers.
  • Only 1 other PM&R on staff and she’s covering the whole house. (56 patients) Consults only for PM&R.

 

Responsibilities:

  • This is full consulting for PM&R. The Internal Medicine physicians are the Admitting and Attending.
  • Potential for some program directorship, if interested.

 Candidate Qualifications:

  • A physiatrist who has an interest in building a practice and growing with the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Patient-centered commitment to excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
