Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight:
  • Direct and oversee the quality and safety of patient care within the group.
  • Lead the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical practices, protocols, and patient outcomes.
  • Champion the creation and refinement of best practices and standards of care.
  • Creating clinical programs in post-acute care and developing training programs for our providers.
  • Inspiring and leading our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Pitching our services to potential clients, both virtually and in person.
  • Handling facility issues, addressing challenges with medical directors, and managing unexpected situations.
  • Developing and nurturing client relationships, both virtually and in person.
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to devise long-term clinical strategies and plans.
  • Pioneer innovation in patient care, ensuring the integration of the latest clinical technologies and practices.
  • Clinical Relations:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our clinicians, creating a collaborative environment.
  • Mentor, guide, and support medical staff, fostering ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the face of the physician group at medical conferences, public events, and media interactions.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, and other medical establishments to promote collaborative endeavors.
  • Business Development & Client Engagement:
  • Represent the company in pitching our services to potential clients, both virtually and in-person.
  • Develop and cultivate robust client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and exploring expansion opportunities.
  • Conflict Resolution:
  • Tactfully handle facility-related challenges, interactions with medical directors, and address emergent issues.
  • Formulate strategies and protocols to prevent potential challenges and to streamline operations.
  • Travel:
  • Some travel between sites required.
  • Travel to corporate office in Chicago
  • Travel may be required in order to attend pertinent conferences; with travel, lodging, and living costs reimbursed at the existing rate of the corporation. Reimbursement for expenses will occur in accordance with company policy.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A dynamic and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to spearhead our clinical team
  • Leadership experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • A strong foundation in post-acute care with at least 3 years’ experience
  • Proven ability to design and implement clinical training programs (preferred)
  • Stellar communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physiatrist: 3 years (Required)
  • SNF: 1 year (Required)
  • Post-acute care: 3 years (Required)
  • Board Certified in PM&R
