Facility Features: 

  • Loveless-UNM Rehabilitation Hospital is 62-beds and CARF-accredited in TBI, SCI and stroke with a 10-bed TBI unit
  • The University of New Mexico Hospital, the 618-bed affiliated acute care teaching hospital, is a Level I trauma center. It is also home to the only certified burn unit and designated stroke center in the state.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Supervise residents and medical students
  • Contribute to eh didactic and clinical curriculum of the PM&R Residency Program

 Candidate Qualifications: 

  • Strong exposure to SCI management and interdisciplinary rehab, essential to maintaining ACGME compliance and enhancing resident education
  • Board certified or eligible in PM&R
  • Fellowship training or board certification in SCI is strongly preferred
  • Track record of scholarly activity or academic contributions
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
