Time Commitment:

 

  • 5 – 15 hours/week

 Responsibilities:

  •  The physiatrist is the consultant and the IM is Attending

 Company Features:

 

  • Provider of choice for most SNF companies in SC and more states
  • Started 4 years ago by a physiatrist and an orthopedic surgeon
  • Great corporate and administrative support, e.g. dedicated physiatry SNF templates, in-house billing, a dedicated team member is nearby to handle any concerns, the company will audit your consults and follow-up visits and can provide education about PQRS to prevent penalties

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work at 2 well-managed 80-bed skilled nursing facilities
  • Go to 2 different facilities on the same day or rotate one facility every other day
  • The facilities are less than 20 minutes apart
  • Act as a consultant working hand-in-hand with primary care physicians
  • See about 75 – 100 patients/week
  • You can work weekends if you’d like

Affiliation:

 

  • 1099 Independent Contractor

Candidate Qualifications:

 

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
