Responsibilities:

● Act as the consultant, not the primary doctor
● Mix of pain management, ortho rehab, and stroke in a SNF
● No call, nights, or weekends
● Full patient-load the day you start
● Work with therapists and physicians in skilled nursing facilities to improve therapy
treatment plans by adding in a layer of your clinical oversight and this company’s
capabilities that do not currently exist in most SNFs

● First work model:
o Work 4-5 days in a SNF as the sole physiatrist seeing about 30
patients/day
o 2-3 hours a week leading rounds in at your facility or at a nearby SNF with
Advanced Practice Practitioners where mentorship is important
o 5 to 15 minutes for a follow-up visit

● Second work model
o Work 1-3 days/week at a SNF with other physiatrists on staff
o Work 1-2 hrs a week /week mentoring Advanced Practice Practitioners

● Third Model
o Work on an hourly basis leading rounds at a SNF
o Advanced Practice Practitioners see the patients
o No charting or billing involved, just mentorship
o Payment is $150/hour

Compensation:

● Make 70% of payments collected for services rendered
● A full-time physiatrist can make $350,000-$400,000
● Billing/Overhead all taken care of by back office team

Affiliation:

● W-2 salaried with benefits
● Or 1099

Benefits:

Candidate Qualifications:

● Board Certified/Board Qualified physiatrist preferred with excellent interpersonal
