Responsibilities:

  • Electrodiagnostic medicine (50%)
  • General physiatry (50%), includes follow-ups, MSK and spasticity. Pump experience would be great
  • Teaching VTCSOM and visiting medical students and residents. The candidate is expected to apply for an academic appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM) and  in our Graduate Medical Education programs

Candidate Qualifications:

 

  • Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Physiatrists who are board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine and physiatrists with experience in the range of modalities for spasticity management are preferred but board eligible new graduates with special interest in these areas are welcome to apply
  • EMG Board Certification is preferred
