 Practice Features:

 

  • 4 physicians and 1 P.A. in the group
  • The practice staffs a consulting service in a 5-hospital system so sees the patients from the start
  • This includes 72 inpatient ARU beds and acute hospital consulting.
  • In addition, they are the consultants for an LTAC brain injury program, several skilled nursing units and have an outpatient office practice
  • 72 rehab beds at 4 rehab units: 2 units with 24-beds each and 2 units with 12-beds each
  • Expanding two units and a LTAC
  • Developing a TBI program with the LTAC

Responsibilities:

 

  • Consults and inpatient acute rehab work
  • Can do some outpatient at a boutique clinic; an US machine is available
  • Moonlighting within the practice for additional income

 Call:

 

  • 1:4, approximately 10 admissions on a Saturday and 2 – 3 on a Sunday

 Compensation:

 

  • Salary with semiannual bonus

Candidate Qualifications:

 

  • BE/BC Physiatrists who have a passion for in-patient rehabilitation, and are interested in treating stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and complex medical patients.
