Exciting Rehab Physiatry Job with no weeknight call, full census, predictable schedule in Nassau County, Long Island, NY.
- $275,000-$325,000 base salary
- No weeknight call and only 1:4 weekend call

Facility Features:
• 37-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Well-established program with a consistently full census and strong referral base
Position Overview:
• Provide coverage for the acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Perform acute care consults for rehabilitation placement
• Optional opportunity to develop outpatient services (dedicated space available on the unit) and/or work in SNF settings
• Supervise and teach PM&R residents
• Average daily census of approximately 13 – 18 patients
• Full attending physician responsibilities with strong interdisciplinary team support
• Long-term opportunities for leadership and administrative advancement
Call Schedule:
• No weeknight call – evening coverage handled by PA call team
• 1:4 weekend call rotation

Candidate Qualifications:
• MD or DO with New York medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team
