Facility Features:

 50-50 joint venture:  Rehabilitation and U of MI

  • 40-bed IRU with access to specialist and imaging
  • The Physiatrist is the attending and hospitalists are consulting providers for RVU

 Responsibilities: 

  • Inpatient with consults
  • 7 days on/7 days off OR M-F with weekend call schedule
  • Work collaboratively with the current physician group to deliver patient care and resident education for the company at a U of MI rehab unit in a supportive and collegial environment

Call: 

  • Inpatient weekend call requirement (1 in 8) at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan
  • You will be on-call with 1 other attending physiatrists, 2 APP’s and 2 PM&R residents
  • Includes rounding on patient, patient admissions and PM&R consults

Compensation:

  • First year competitive salary if desired
  • wRVU-based production at $61.88 which equals approximately $330,000+ plus
  • 10% bonus paid out per year if system, medical group & specific doctor meets goals – based on your yearly salary
