 Responsibilities:

 

  • Work in Hartford and Glastonbury and Enfield, and do procedures in the Rocky Hill and Hartford surgical centers
  • Your time will be divided pretty evenly between the 3 offices
  • May go to an office or two a day
  • You determine how many days a week you do procedures
  • Some EMG’s
  • Work as a contingent of the spine subspecialty, doing non-surgical spine management, mainly injections when warranted and work closely with the spine surgeons
  • Prescribe PT, med (mostly non-opioid) and perform injections
  • Some of the team coverage is at Trinity College, University of Hartford or Central Connecticut State University
  • It is NOT a pain clinic; Some personal injury and worker’s comp; the payor mix is varied to include commercial and Medicare with a little Medicaid
  • Can do regenerative procedures
  • Can do research UConn and The Bone and Joint institute
  • On a day where the schedule doesn’t fill, do some EMGs.

  • Employee with partnership potential
  • It’s up to you when you want to jump to the partnership track (which involves a draw). Once you opt for the partnership track (which you can do from the beginning if you like), it is a 2-year path
  • The only requirement for partnership is that when your 2 years are up that your net collections are greater than your net overhead
  • Partnership includes ancillary income from Surgery Centers, MRI/Imaging, PT

 Compensation:

 

  • Either a two- or three-year track to partnership.
  • The three-year track includes a salary in the range of $300,000, plus an incentive bonus in the first year, followed by two years in the Income Distribution Model.
  • The two-year track includes immediate entry into the Income Distribution Model
  • The practice’s goal is for all associates to become full, equal partners
