Practice Features:

  • This group provides expert orthopedic care for all of Southeast Alaska. Their board-certified physicians and dedicated care team have served the Juneau community for over 20 years, offering comprehensive services including digital MRI and X-ray, orthopedic surgery, and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments or disabilities
  • Develop customized treatment plans aimed at restoring optimal function
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and neurologists
  • Provide non-surgical pain management and rehabilitation services
  • Perform pain interventions such as Epidural Steroid Injections/RFA/Nerve Block
  • Perform EMGs, joint and trigger point injections, ultrasound-guided procedures (as applicable)
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, prognosis, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using (EHR system)
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical team meetings

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Dedicated and compassionate Board Certified physiatrist
  • Has a passion for improving function and quality of life in patients suffering from musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain
  • MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Fellowship training in Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine and or physical medicine & rehabilitation
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in PM&R.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in [State].
  • DEA certification.
