Interventional spine pain physiatry job in MS with picture of Jackson, MS

Practice Features:

  • Group of 3 physiatrists, 7 orthopedic surgeons, 2 anesthesiology pain management doctors and 4 nurse practitioners.
  • The practice offers a continuum of services from acute to subacute to outpatient care.
  • Ancillary services include PT, X-ray, pre-operative labs and EKG’s, clinical lab work, outpatient pain management facility and full service pharmacy.
  • The practice was founded in 2008 with the merger of three surgical clinics, and physical medicine practice, and an interventional pain management practice

Responsibilities:

  • 4 – 5 Procedure days/week performed at an in-house ASC
  • Musculoskeletal, pain management, pain psychological testing/counseling, EMG’s,  IME’s.  A significant amount of workers compensation work.
  • Minimal call, don’t share call with the other specialists

Compensation:              

  • Commensurate with experience
  • $450,000 – $500,000 salary range
  • Salary plus incentive
  • The incentive is based on productivity/collections

Affiliation:                        

  • Employee with partnership potential
  • Partnership track 1 – 3 years at which time you would share in the ancillary service income too

Candidate Qualifications:           

 

  • Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Board Certified in spine or experience in spine procedures
