Interventiona Medical Director physiatry job or purchase with picture of NAshville, TN

Practice Features:

  • Financially strong, well-established practice
  • 2-office practice with 1 physiatrist; there was also a second physiatrist but he has retired
  • The practice owner would like a practice associate to work autonomously at the Nashville office and/or to purchase the Nashville site
  • Offices in Hendersonville and Nashville
  • Supportive team of 2 mid-levels at each office who work exclusively at each office to help you succeed
  • 95% of patients referred from other doctors
  • The practice owner screens all new patient referrals to determine appropriateness of referral
  • All chronic pain
  • In-office fluoroscopy suites
  • The mid-levels rotate call

Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously at the Nashville, TN office
  • All interventional procedures to include cervical and lumbar epidurals under fluoroscopy, RFA’s, median branch blocks, EMG’s
  • The practice does not do intrathecal pumps
  • See some follow-up and new patients as mid-levels also responsible for some of this work
  • Supervise the work of the mid-levels
  • Medication management
  • 4 days/week, 6:30 AM – 5 PM
  • Volume of about 20 procedures/ on procedures days
  • Anticipate 15 minutes for a bilateral L3-L5 diagnostic MBB

Compensation:

  • Salary plus incentive if an employee

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Pain and PM&R
  • An entrepreneurial interest
