- Primary provider for the Medical Center which has a 41-bed rehab unit
- Average daily census – 35
- Physiatry private practice group with 2 NP’s
- The patients all have hospitalists or private doctors who follow them daily
- 2 rehab units in the hospital, one with an ADC of 22 and the other with an ADC of 18
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient and outpatient mix
- Admitting and attending responsibilities; hospitalists and specialists are available
- Mostly rehab and subacute
- A typical day would include AM huddling, morning rounds and writing notes, doing admissions and discharges and seeing patients in the office depending on the day of the week
