Hospitalists cover nights, assistance of a PA, comprehensive benefits at this Brooklyn, NY physiatry job.
• Dedicated IM Hospitalists cover medical needs of patients during evenings
• Low call rate
• Report directly to the Rehabilitation Medicine Chief of Service
Facility Features:
• 30-bed rehab unit with ADC of 23
• 450-bed acute hospital hospital so the unit has the benefit from consultation with any specialty needed for patient
• Share work with another physiatrist and a PA
• Assistance of 2 PA’s that work from 7 am to 7pm
• A highly collegial environment
Responsibilities:
• Inpatient – see patients 3 times/week
• Outpatient follow-up about 1 day every 2 weeks
• The position includes participation on relevant departmental and hospital committees as assigned
