·         Hospitalists available for consultation and management of complex patients; you would act as the consultant, not the patients’ primary doctor

·         Program director stipend PLUS your professional receipts

·         Affiliate with the nation’s largest rehab provider

 

Responsibilities:   

 

  • 12-15 hours/month as stroke program director plus
  • Inpatient/outpatient work at a 72-bed, state-of-the-art freestanding rehab hospital
  • Caseload of approximately 20 patients
  • The physiatrist is the consultant, not the primary doctor for the patients

Affiliation:              

  • Independent contractor or
  • Employee

Compensation:      

  • Professional receipts plus stipend
  • High income potential,

Call:                           

  • Reasonable call schedule shared with other physicians

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
