Practice Overview:

  • Established PM&R practice led by a board-certified physiatrist and supported by two nurse practitioners, in operation since 2022
  • The current owner acquired the practice from a physiatrist in practice there for over 30 years
  • Provides care at a 27-bed inpatient rehab unit (expanding to 32 beds)
  • Performs 8–10 inpatient consults daily at a Level I trauma center located across the street from the office
  • Manages 14–16 outpatient visits per day
  • Conducts 8–10 EMGs per day
  • The physiatrist serves as the attending physician; each patient also has an internist assigned
  • Additional EMG opportunities available 1–2 times per month at two satellite locations, approximately 45–50 minutes from the main office

Position Responsibilities:

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with flexibility to tailor responsibilities to your interests
  • EMGs are a required component of the role
  • Includes a small workers’ compensation caseload
  • Medication management for a limited number of patients

Call Schedule:

  • 1:2, with nurse practitioner support for approximately 34 weekends per year
