Responsibilities:

  • Primarily outpatient clinical practice focused on general neurorehabilitation and EMG’s.
  • Teach physiatry residents and medical students.
  • Opportunities are available to develop other sub-specialized areas of clinical practice, in alignment with applicant interests and community needs.
  • Opportunities for broader roles in inpatient rehabilitation and inpatient consults are available.
  • Research opportunities with Washington State University (WSU), University of Washington, Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho, University of Montana, and Gonzaga University are available.
  • Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment at WSU Elson S Floyd College of Medicine and University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Call:

  • Weekend inpatient call coverage is shared among members of the group (6-8 weekends per year).
  • Residents provide on-site 24/7 call coverage with attending available by phone.

Compensation:

  • Total compensation is between $259,987 and $362,315 per year
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, or extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • BC/BE Physiatrist with excellent EMG technical and clinical interpretation skills
  • Neuromuscular, SCI, or TBI subspecialty training or ABEM certification preferred but not required.
  • Ultrasound (MSK/neuromuscular) or spasticity management experience preferred but not required.
