General outpatient or interventional physiatry job, Mount Laurel (southern NJ)

Practice Highlights:

• A dedicated team of pain management specialists, including 4 physiatrists, 4 pain anesthesiologists, and 7 advanced practice providers
• Comprehensive treatment for chronic pain conditions, including low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and more
• Expertise in treating regional pain, peripheral neuropathy, and cancer pain
• Advanced pain management techniques, such as steroid injections, ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided injections, and cognitive behavioral therapy
•  Affiliated withlocal respected health systems
• Ultrasound suite available on-site

Responsibilities:

 

• Focused exclusively on chronic pain management—no acute pain service
• Flexibility to perform procedures on the same day as patient consultations, with an MA assisting with setup
• Some medication management (following strict guidelines: no high doses)
• Work in the same office with a pain anesthesiologist
• EMG proficiency is a plus, but not required
• Follow-up visits scheduled every 15 minutes, new patients every 30 minutes, ultrasound procedures every 15 minutes, and spine consultations every 30 minutes
• Approximately 30% sports medicine; can do some regenerative medicine work
