Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient physiatry consultation
  • Cross coverage care at nearby Surgery and Rehab Hospital with a collegial team of 4 physiatrists
  • Opportunity for some outpatient care
  • Leadership opportunity available for those with commensurate experience
  • Schedule is variable and adjustable
  • In collaboration with the Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation and the VP Medical Affairs, provide Physiatry services, diagnosis and treatment of patients

  • Expansion. We are seeking a board qualified/board certified physiatrist to focus on inpatient consultation at our award-winning, teaching hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certified physiatrist with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • General computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and medical record data review and entry and/or capability to become proficient to include the use of the Transdisciplinary Pain Program EHR system as well as the Epic system.
  • Legally able to prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone for Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (DEA-X waiver or Notification of Intent confirmed)
  • Current licensure or ability to license in the state of Pennsylvania
