- 12-bed rehab unit at a 243-bed acute care hospital; licensed for 18 beds
- ADC=10
- The Department of PM&R has nine full-time physiatrists and a newly accredited 16-position four-year categorical residency training program
- As a major teaching affiliate of New York Medical College, 3rd and 4th year medical students rotate on site for their required PM&R clerkship and for electives as do PGYIII PM&R residents for 4 months/year
- Faculty maintain academic appointments within the School of Medicine
Responsibilities:
- Act as the consultant
- Collaborate with hospitalists for specialized consults when needed
- Provide leadership to support and develop the rehab services and its multidisciplinary team
