Responsibilities:

  • Work with one or more APNs or PAs who are performing physical medicine and rehab assessments on SNF patients
  • Review charts, no co-signing
  • Collaborate with your assigned advanced practice clinicians to conduct patient chart audits per applicable regulations, delegate prescriptive authority, and be available telephonically as required by state-specific requirements, etc.
  • Chart reviewing, no co-signing
  • On-site or telemedicine is fine
  • Collaborative agreement with the mid-level

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience in geriatrics, PM&R, or complex patients (preferred)
  • A physiatrist who desires the experience of delivering quality & compassionate healthcare within proven care models with patients at the forefront of everything
  • Requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to our evidence-based clinical guidelines
  • The ability to properly evaluate, assess, document and appropriately intervene as necessary
  • Must be able to relate professionally and positively to physicians, providers and staff
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills
