Key Responsibilities:
• Flexible mix of procedural and clinic-based care (currently 2 procedure days/week; can be expanded)
• Perform interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and nerve blocks
• Optional EMG studies; joint and trigger point injections
• Ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided procedures as appropriate
• ASC-based procedures performed at Southeast Alaska Surgery Center (adjacent to clinic)
• Minimal medication management; no chronic narcotic prescribing
• Limited chronic pain population
• Opportunity to supervise/teach medical and PA students
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal and functional impairments
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and pain management plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate documentation (EHR)
• Optional outreach clinics in Sitka and Ketchikan

Qualifications:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency
• Fellowship training in Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine, or related field preferred
• Active or eligible for unrestricted Alaska medical license and DEA certification
