Practice Overview:
- Collaborate with three seasoned, Board-Certified spine physiatrists in a practice with a strong 14-year history.
- The senior physiatrist, a highly respected professional, has been named “Top Doc” for 8 consecutive years and has been serving the area for over 22 years.
- Active involvement in numerous professional and academic organizations.
- Supportive staff of 3 APRNs, who also take call. As patient volume increases, the new physician will be paired with an APRN.
- A small, tight-knit, family-oriented practice culture.
Responsibilities:
Interventional:
- Ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal (MSK) injections, fluoroscopy-guided spinal injections, and EMG/NCS studies (approximately 10-12 studies per week referred from orthopedic surgeons).
- Sports medicine work to include outpatient MSK/, EMGs, peripheral joint injections/, Botox for migraines and cervical dystonia, trigger point injections and PRP injections with US guidance
- Very little medication management required.
- Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with no Saturday shifts.
- Most work will be based in two office locations.
- Procedures are performed in-office and at two surgery centers.
- Opportunity to learn advanced procedures with a team willing to train.
General Outpatient:
• If general outpatient, clinic work and EMG’s
• Procedures include epidural steroid injections, Medial Branch Blocks, Radiofrequency Ablations, EMG Nerve Conduction Studies, Botox for migraines/cervical dystonia, visco-supplementation injection, PRP, Ultrasound guided injections, trigger point injections
• Mostly pain but a decent number of sports medicine patients
• Can do botox
Call Schedule:
- 1:4 month rotation, all by phone.
Affiliation & Growth:
- Employee position with the potential for partnership after three years, or potentially sooner.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary plus performance incentives.
- Starting base salary of approximately $300K for a new graduate.

- The practice is expanding due to growth. This is a practice with zero physiatry attrition, and a strong, collegial group dynamic, including team-building activities such as picnics, holiday parties, and more.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Qualified Physiatrist. Board-Qualified candidates must be within two years of completing residency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Fellowship training is preferred but not required.
- Fellowship and residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
