Facility Overview (St. Louis Example):
• Staff physiatrist position within one of the largest hospital systems in the region
• 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Internal Medicine support in place
• Affiliated with SSM Health and Select Medical
• Comparable facility structure and support across all Missouri locations

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage an average daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Oversee all aspects of inpatient rehabilitation care
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and consulting specialists
• Address and manage barriers to rehabilitation to optimize outcomes and ensure safe discharge
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings weekly
• Participate in family meetings at admission, discharge, and as needed
• Optional involvement in consults, SNF, and LTAC settings
• No outpatient responsibilities required (optional if desired)
