Time Commitment:
- 3 days/week if part-time
Practice Features:
- Work with a solo practice Board Certified physiatrist
- 3 offices to include Bellmore and Westbury although the work is only in Queens
- The practice doesn’t prescribe opioids and screens out drug seekers
Responsibilities:
Interventional
- See new pain consults and follow-ups one day and epidural injection procedures on the second day
- See approximately 25+ patients/day
- No call, no weekends
General outpatient:
- See approximately 25+ patients/day
- No call, no weekends
Payors:
- Major medical, commercial, NY No Fault, Workers compensation, personal injury, BCBS, 1199
Compensation:
- If part-time, the compensation is $150, 000 – $175,000
- If part-time, payment is by a W-2
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Certified in Worker’s Comp for NY state
- A minimum of two years Private Practice experience and EMG/NCV testing experience a must
