Practice Features:

 

  • The practice offers general physiatry services, interventional pain management and PT on-site
  • 3 offices, just work in Brooklyn
  • The practice provides general PM&R consults, pain consults, EMG’s, epidural procedures and PT
  • 4,000 square foot facility
  • 4 – 5 licensed PT’s

Responsibilities:

 

  • General outpatient physiatry
  • See approximately 25+ patients/day
  • Initial and follow-up evals
  • Order diagnostic testing such as MRIs
  • Order and interpret EMGs
  • Prescribe for in-office PT
  • Provide pain management services such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, maybe epidurals under fluoroscopy
  • Refer to outside orthopedic, spine, pain and neurologists
  • No call, no weekends

Payors:

 

  • NY No Fault, Workers compensation, personal injury, BCBS, 1199

Compensation:

 

  • Full-time – Competitive salary plus incentives, health insurance, paid malpractice Paid holidays and vacation time
  • $200,000 – $300,000 plus benefits depending on experience paid vacation paid occurrence mal- practice, 50% toward Health insurance Paid holidays
  • Part-time – Possibility of malpractice insurance

Candidate

Qualifications:

 

  • Board Certified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Active NY State medical and WC licenses
