Outpatient physiatry job in Greenville, NC with NC flag

Responsibilities:      

  • Participate in didactics with residents, rotating medical students, and occasional research students
  • Musculoskeletal care, musculoskeletal ultrasound, SSEP, VEP, EMG’s, phenol nerve blocks; joint injections, botox, IT baclofen pumps, US guidance and wound/hyperbaric medicine
  • Research is supported and is a valued component of the position if desired
  • Fixed-term position available at the title/rank of assistant professor or higher.
  • Monday – Friday schedule.
  • Call would only be to cover a few times a year as needed for summer vacations or national meetings which would be about 5 – 6 times a year

  • The Center’s 57-bed inpatient unit is one of few rehabilitation facilities in the U.S. accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in eleven or more specialty areas.
  • The Center is also one of the five centers of excellence. The Medical Center is a JCAHO-accredited Level I Trauma center with 900+ beds and is one of seven hospitals.
