Practice Features:

  • Busy, 30-year-old well-recognized spine practice with patients from all over SC
  • New, state-of-the-art 65,000 square-foot facility with a brand-new ASC downstairs with 4 OR’s and 4 procedure rooms
  • 5 spine surgeons, 2 pain management anesthesiologists and a pain management physiatrist, 10 PA’s, 3 PT’s
  • The facility also houses larger MRIs and offers numerous benefits:
    ✓EMG, digital X-ray and fluoroscopy capabilities
    ✓ Spine block
    ✓ Minimally-invasive outpatient surgery
    ✓ In-house pharmacy
    ✓ Physical therapy center for spine-related conditions
  • The difficult cases go to the pain anesthesiologists

Responsibilities:

  • 50% of your time doing procedures and 50% of your time in the clinic
  • Procedures done by fluoro, US is available
  • Have a PRP machine
  • About 8 EMG’s/week

Call:

  • 1:4 but the current physiatrist has only been called 3 times a year
