Time Commitment:

  • 4–6 days per month (flexible scheduling)

Responsibilities:

  • Order and perform interventional spine procedures to include but not limited to: cervical, thoracic and lumbar epidural injections; cervical, thoracic and lumbar medial branch blocks; sacroiliac joint injections, intra-articular hip injections, as well as cervical, thoracic and lumbar radiofrequency ablations
  • Provide physical examinations of patients with a primary emphasis on musculoskeletal pain and injury management
  • Evaluate a patient’s symptoms, diagnose and determine the most appropriate course of treatment
  • Utilize a fully equipped procedure room within the office

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $3,000/day
  • Gas and 1 night hotel covered
  • Malpractice insurance provided

Affiliation:

  • Independent Contractor

Initial Payor Mix:

  • Primarily personal injury
  • Will credential with additional payors to be added once on board

Reason for Opening:

  • Previous physiatrist was commuting long-distance and unable to continue

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • A team player

  • A practice ombudsman
