Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for medically complex acute inpatient and subacute rehabilitation patients
  • 15 – 17 inpatients
  • Consultant only responsibility in premier subacute facility with full-time APP support including documentation
  • 14-15 inpatient census + 2 half days per week in subacute
  • Flexible schedule/ability to round then complete your notes remotely, including from home.
  • Not much outpatient at this practice presently other than consulting
  • If interested in outpatient, the practice will help you set it up and feed it

Call:

  • Once per week, rarely called overnight
  • 1:4 weekend/month responsible for signing pre-screens
  • Don’t have to write admissions, just notes
