 Responsibilities:

 

  • Current and largest need is coverage for both IRF and SNF beds
  • Physiatrists serve as admitting and attending physicians for all patients
  • PA or NP support provided for all inpatients
  • Small acute care consult service has great potential and room for growth
  • Develop an outpatient practice in your area(s) of interest
  • Preadmission screening duties for the hospital
  • Attend hospital and practice meetings as requested
  • Possibility for growth in the near future at nearby facilities
  • Call coverage
  • 1:7 weekend average, work with PA/NP, 7-10 average admissions per weekend + follow-up visits and discharges
  • 1st call 4 days of your call week; 2nd call 3 days of your call week

 Compensation/Benefits:

 

  • Competitive salary plus bonus
  • Bonus is determined by the performance of both the physician and the group

Candidate Qualifications:

 

  • BC/BE in PM&R. If BE, must be within 2 years of residency completion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Comfort in managing the medical and rehabilitation needs of patients in the inpatient rehab setting
