Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care and rehabilitative interventions to patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions
  • By leveraging your expertise in PM&R, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain functionality, manage pain, and enhance their overall well-being
  • Provide rehab and pain consults in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), including trigger points and joint injections
  • Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development

 Employment Type:

  • Full-time with flexibility to set own schedule
  • OR
  • Part-Time 2 days/week at a minimum

Compensation:

  • Full-time: Annual Salary $225K – $300K plus bonus
  • OR
  • Full-time Independent contractor with the potential to make $250 – $450K
  • OR
  • Part-time Independent contractor with potential to make $125K – 225K

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A highly-skilled and compassionate physiatrist
  • A board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist with experience in managing patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and chronic conditions
  • 2025 residency graduates will be considered
  • Valid medical license in New York, NY
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload
