Facility Features:

• 40-bed inpatient unit
• Highly trained clinical liaisons who make admissions easier, experienced PA who assists with orders and patient management
• Hip fractures, stroke, TBI, very few spinal cord injuries

Responsibilities:

• Inpatient, rotate 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, act as the primary physician
• Average patient load is 25 – 32
• Outpatient – can do some too if wanted

Call:

• 24/7 but split with PA
• The PA will cover 8 call (Mon-Thu) and you will cover 6 (Fri-Sun)
• Internal medicine is also on call for non-rehab issues

Compensation:

• Salary + stipend + incentives
• Revenue sharing is a possibility

Payors:

• Mostly Medicare, some Medicare Advantage

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Open to 2023-graduating residents
