Interventional or general outpatient physiatry job with picture of Baton Rouge from the air

Practice Features:

  • Beautiful $1.5M, Level 1 office-based, state-of-the-art surgery facility
  • 60% – 70% of consults turn into procedures
  • Work with a Board Certified interventional physiatrist who is a Program Director of a pain fellowship and affiliated with a PM&R residency
  • 3 chiropractors

Time Commitment:

  • 1 day/week – Thursday or Tuesday

Responsibilities:

If interventional:

  • Procedures like ESI, facets, MBB, RFA and office visits
  • Approximately 45 – 50 ESI’s/month and 5 – 7 RF’s/month
  • Medical-legal work

If general outpatient:

  • New clinic and follow-up’s

Compensation:

  • For interventional, $250,000 a year for 1 day/week;  $200/hour for clinic work with a minimum guarantee of 8 hours so therefore $1,600

Affiliation:

  • Independent contractor

Payors:

  • Mix of Workers Compensation and Personal Injury

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board Certified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
