Responsibilities:

Physiatry clinical work plus teaching.  You will be responsible for the management of the rehab and pain needs for complex cancer patients.    Will participate in general PM&R and specialty clinics as needed, along with teaching and scholarly activity.   Requires BC/BE in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Call:

Approximately once in 4 weeks and second on call.  They very rarely have any problems that the resident on call can not handle.

 

Compensation:

Base salary plus an incentive bonus program.  Base compensation is based on the Clinical FTE, academic rank, extramural grant support, and clinical productivity. There is a very aggressive incentive program in which all faculty participate based solely on clinical productivity (net collections), in addition, an annual academic bonus is available at the end of the fiscal year at the discretion of the Chair.

Candidate

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Qualified physiatrists with excellent interpersonal and communications skills; will consider visaholders; Fellowship in spine preferred for the position
